oBike Logo

oBike launches oBike Flash, a guaranteed two-hour on-demand delivery service across Singapore. oBike Flash can deliver documents, small packages or food.

This service taps on the nearest available manpower to make the delivery. Delivery prices start from a flat rate of S$10 within a radius up to five kilometres with a surcharge of S$0.30 per kilometre up to 10km, and S$0.50 per kilometre between 10.1km to 20km. There is a weight limit of 10kg. Night deliveries from 11 pm to 7 am will incur an additional charge at 1.5 times the usual delivery rates.

You can access oBike Flash via the existing oBike application after updating it. There will be an additional oBike Flash tab. Payment for the service is by credit or debit card and no deposit is required to use the service.

You can also join as an oBike Flashman by downloading the oBike Flashman app. All applicants will be vetted and certified. Once certified, you will start receiving notifications from the app if you are in the vicinity within the pick-up location. An oBike Flashman stands to earn 100% per delivery trip.

oBike, Singapore’s homegrown smart station-less bike sharing operator, announced last week that it hit a major milestone of 10 million trips globally. oBike has also partnered TRON, a blockchain-based decentralised protocol to launch oCOin, the newest cryptocurrency in the market. The token sale, announced by ODYSSEY – the oCoin foundation, is only open to institutional investors for now, with a total of four billion oCoins for sale. oCoin is based on the Ethereum protocol. It currently accepts only ETH, Ethereum’s cryptocurrency token. All participant wallets must be ETH ERC20 compatible to purchase oCoins. There are plans to support TRX, TRON’s cryptocurrency token in the future.
