19,000 Turn Out At Siloso Beach Party Countdown Party

1 January 2013, Singapore – 19,000 people turned up last night to countdown to 2013 at the annual countdown beach party in Sentosa – the .  The wet weather on New Year’s Eve did not dampen the spirits of the party revelers who flocked in from around the world.

The fifth edition of the Siloso Beach Party featured a line-up of 28 local and international disc-jockeys providing the music across five different party zones.  The Main Arena featured famous female deejays such as DJ Shy and DJ K-Sly at two separate stages.  Besides the Main Arena, COASTES, Wavehouse, Azzura and Mambo also offered a multitude of different beats and tunes.

The foam pool which measured 61 metres by 16 metres was a popular spot withing the ‘wet party zone’ which also featured its own line-up of DJs and acts.

Fireworks lighted up the skies at midnight but the party continued on as performances and street acts continued throughout the 1.2km beach.
