BARKS Japanese Entertainment Portal Goes Global

Good news for all J-Pop and J-Rock fans. You can get your daily dose of the latest Japanese entertainment news from BARKS, Japan’s leading music publication and news website which released its English website (www.en.barks.jp/) on 12 April. Simplified Chinese (www.zh-cn.barks.jp) and Traditional Chinese (www.zh-tw.barks.jp) versions are also available.

Mr Tadashi Goto, producer for BARKS said, “BARKS is pleased to broadcast (Japanese entertainment) news, live reports interviews and more for the global fans.”

At the press conference, the company also presented three popular J-Rock bands, SID, flumpool and WEAVER who performed at “J-Rock Matters Live presented by BARKS” on 23 May 2013 at Clarke Quay as part of the international music showcase, Music Matters 2013.”

J-Rock band, Flumpool shared their thoughts, “Flumpool are hoping to reach more audiences globally as well as Asia. We would like to show our appreciation for our fans by producing good music and we believe that music can connect people.”
