Miffy at Singapore Changi Airport

Miffy the adorable white rabbit flies into Singapore together with the amazing tulips on KLM Royal Dutch Airlines for this year’s Tulipmania at the Flower Dome, Gardens by The Bay from 14 April to 4 May 2014.

Over 94 KLM Delft Houses, which are given to all KLM World Business Class travellers will be showcased at Tulipmania in a miniature model display of The Netherlands.

Miffy, the creation of Dutch artist Dick Bruna, will be around to greet visitors on planting day, Easter Sunday and for Orange Day celebrations. Miffy was created in 1955 during a vacation in The Netherlands where Mr Bruna would tell his son a story about a white rabbit who would wander through the gardens of the holiday village in which they are staying.

Miffy arrived in Singapore at 3.02pm together with the crew on board KLM’s Boeing 777 KL835 from Amsterdam.  At Changi Airport Miffy took photos with fans and caught the attention of many. If you were as cute as Miffy or had such long ears, you would also be attracting much attention.

  • 8 April – Tulip planting at the Flower Dome in Gardens by the Bay
