FUNDRAISER: M1, SingTel & StarHub launch Japan Disaster SMS Donation Drive

28 March 2011, Singapore – Singapore’s three mobile network operators in Singapore, M1, SingTel and StarHub together with Ericsson‘s global mobile commerce enabler IPX have collaborated to allow post-paid mobile customers here to make donations to aid victims of the Japan disaster from 28 March 2011 till midnight on 25 April 2011. Adminstration fees that are usually associated with such premium SMS will be waived and the full proceeds will be forwarded to the Singapore Red Cross Society.

For a S$5 donation, SMS RC5 to 78888
For a S$10 donation, SMS RC10 to 78888
For a S$20 donation, SMS RC20 to 78888

Your donation will be reflected in your next monthly bill from your mobile service provider. Do note that your donation will not be tax-deductible and if you are below 18 years of age, please get parental or guardian consent before making a donation.
