Fei Yue Family Service Centre celebrates it 30th Anniversary with a fundraiser to raise S$250,000 for the vulnerable and disadvantaged communities. Contributions support the organisation’s Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children as well as its Active Ageing Centres.
Fei Yue has also collaborated with five local F&B social enterprises including The Social Kitchen, Pope Jai Thai, Forward Coffee Roasters, The Social Space and Soul Food Enterprises. Foodies receive a meal voucher at their participating local F&B social enterprises with a S$150 donation. These meal vouchers let donors choose from a wide range of food & beverages at the social enterprises including weekly set meals at Soul Food, a set of open-faced toast, beverage and a tahini billionaire bar at The Social Space or S$30 worth of food and beverages at The Social Kitchen. You can also get a set for two with drinks, waffles and coffee brew bags at Foreward Coffee Roasters or a main dish along with a beverage of Thai Iced red milk tea and a dessert of mango sticky rice at Pope Jai Thai.
There will be a charity movie premiere and online movie passes to inspirational movie, The Rider; an online charity art auction of ten beautiful, exquisite art pieces and other activities and ground-up initiatives.
Fei Yue was established in Singapore in 1991 as a family service centre. It has grown into a multi-service social service organisation that helps and offers services to everyone. Today it continues to work with the community and runs 34 centres throughout Singapore, reaching out to over 82,000 individuals and their families annually.
Visit Fei Yue’s 30th Anniversary Fundraiser website to donate. Donations, where applicable, will be tax-deductible through a seamless online application with Fei Yue. All donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Singapore government and the Tote Board through the Tote Board Enhanced Fund-Raising programme.
“Over the past 30 years, Fei Yue has had the privilege of helping many vulnerable and disadvantaged communities in Singapore. Our vision to effect life transformation through the provision of quality social services has remained steadfast. Annually, we serve over 80,000 individuals and their communities island-wide. We are excited for the future as we continue to work closely with the communities to provide more meaningful services. Through the fundraiser, we also hope to continue to promote the spirit of giving in Singapore, one where everyone looks out for each other. We invite everyone to join us in whatever ways they can as we journey towards a stronger and a more equitable society.”
