Etihad Airways and a number of its Etihad Airways Partners are partnering Taste Festivals Ltd, the organisers of restaurant events since 2004 with presence at 15 Taste Festivals this year. The global showcase kicked off today with three events – Taste of Sydney, Taste of Hong Kong and Taste of Dubai.
The airline will also participate in the other Taste festivals in Amsterdam, Johannesburg, London, Milan, Melbourne, Moscow, Paris, Perth, Rome and Toronto as well as its home Abu Dhabi. The Taste platform allows Etihad Airways to highlight its dining innovation across all cabins and in their lounges.
Taste Festivals Limited and Etihad Airways are developing a ‘Taste the World’ initiative to recognise emerging culinary talent from each of the 13 Taste festivals outside the UAE. The winners will each receive a trip to Taste of Abu Dhabi from 3 to 5 November 2016 to compete against the airline’s own inflight chefs in a display of culinary skill.
Taste Festivals is owned by IMG Arts and Entertainment, a division of Events and Federations business unit of IMG Worldwide, the global sports, fashion and media company.
