13 March 2012, Singapore – Shane Neubronner and Robin Yoong have volunteered to have their heads shaved for St. Baldricks Foundation, a global volunteer-driven charity committed to funding research for cures for childhood cancer. They hope to raise at least S$4,000 for the St Baldrick’s Foundation. The motivation behind this fundraising event is to support the goal of ensuring that the kids have the most sophisticated medical treatment to combat the illness and become healthy again due to cutting-edge cancer research.
It takes two colleagues to volunteer their hair, but it takes all of us to conquer cancer.
Adopting the moniker, The Bald Ultimatum, the duo started their ‘shave process’ by focusing on their face, hands and legs as a run-up to the event on Wednesday, 15 March 2012. Yesterday, the duo underwent their virgin boyzillian waxing treatment to strip all their hair from waist down and we captured them in this video footage. We feel the pain for them. Filming it was as painful as watching it!!
