Brand’s Game On Kick-Off Party. Hot or Not?!

The limousine pick-up was 1.30am. Towards St James for Spain vs Netherlands, very big screen, food & drink & games & gifts, all courtesy of BRANDSGAMEON, the essence peeps World Cup 2014 event.

The driver and I talked of cabbages & kings and how she gave her children Brand’s essence of chicken during their school exams.

“You know Singapore men prefer girls from Sichuan and Cheng Du,” she said.
No.
“Yes, because of all the mala tang they eat, they are hot stuff.”
No.

Before I could refute with how Singapore girls are better energised and more informed – thanks in some measure to Brand’s essences – we’d arrived.

It was the hottest match, so far.

At the door to our “arena” bar, we were of course asked Netherlands or Spain. I boldy bet that while I’m with and for Spain I could feel Netherlands out for the kill (2010 what). It was just the most exciting football match I’d seen in four years, as Spain, s i g h,  abdicated in the second half and Dutch strength and courage crowned the day.

The very essence of Brand’s surrounded the noise and atmosphere and gasps and cheers and groans and jeers and spirit of the early morning (local time) battle on the pitch in Brazil. Five times I cornered the chafing dishes of buffet food (each time my enemy scored). On every table, plastic whistles and paper trumpets, cupcakes in team colours, Brand’s essence of chicken. And all the drink you needed.

By 4.35am we were sent off by the Brand’s referee, to collect our bag of Brand’s nutri-goodies, plus taxi vouchers home. Once home I binned my Dutch Baby Milk, and emptied a bottle of Brand’s into my mala tang.

Goal.
