Boeing’s participation at this year’s Singapore Airshow will involve displaying Scoot’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on the first day of the show. Singapore Airline’s low-cost long haul subsidiary Scoot is the world’s first all-787 fleet airline, operating 10 787-8s and 787-9s. Scoot plans to open new markets and routes with another 10 787s on order.
The Republic of Singapore Air Force F1-15SG fighters as well as AH-64 Apache and CH-47 Chinook helicopters as well as a US Navy P-8A Poseidon, two F/A 18F Super Hornet aircraft and a US Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey are scheduled to be on static display. The US Air Force C-17 Globemaster III will be on the flying display as well as on static display.
At the Boeing exhibit, commercial airplane models such as the 737 MAX, 747 Intercontinental, 777X, 787 Dreamliner and 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighter will be featured. An interactive virtual reality tour of passenger airplane models will also be on display.
Interactive displays, operator consoles for the P-8A Poseidon and Maritime Surveillance Aircraft will also be on displayed together with models of the ScanEagle unmanned aerial system and others. An F-15 simulator will be available in the RSAF exhibit area.
