Auchentoshan takes over the newly-opened Monti to present a dramatically different encounter with whisky for four days from 21 to 24 December 2016 in Singapore. What better way to end the year and celebrate friendship and love with your friends, colleagues and family than to enjoy views of Marina Bay over triple-distilled single malt from the Islay region and canapés by Monti’s Chef Luigi Calcagno.
The New Malt Order aims to amplify the key flavours with signature hints of citrus, nuttiness, sweetness and spiciness from the maturation in Bourbon, Oloroso Sherry and Pedro Ximenez casks. Customise the way you experience this scotch with the addition of various condiments, ingredients and choices of garnish that will fill a pop up installation at Monti.
There are three interesting cocktails priced at S$18 each to try.
What The Kueh is concocted with coconut water, Pandan Reduction, Gula Melaka and the Auchentoshan Three Wood. The Ye Olde Soda Sour features the Auchentoshan 12 year old mixed with three types of citrus and a dash of sugar, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Jammin’ with the Marmy is a cocktail of orange marmalade, fresh lemon juice and bitters with Auchentoshan 12 year old served over crushed ice.
