21 December 2011, Singapore – Kpop or “Hallyu” fans in Asia can now visit local MSN websites across Asia for the latest updates on their favourite popstars and songs. Dedicated channels in Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines were launched 19 December 2011.
MSN is also the official partner for the Golden Disk Awards 2012 offering behind the scenes content. The awards is described as “the grammies of Korea” and nexxt year’s awards will be held on 11 and 12 January 2012 at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan. The MSN International Award will be presented to the artist with the No. 1 song of the past year where the winner is selected based on tallying judges’ assessment and fans’ votes.
The nominees include ‘Mr. Simple’ by Super Junior, ‘The Boys’ by Girls Generation, ‘Fiction’ by Beast, and ‘Lonely by 2NE1. Cast your votes on the local MSN portals before 26 December 2011.

Entries close by 29 December 2011 and is open to participants above 18 years of age residing in the Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and Korea. Prize winners will be notified by email, and results to the contest will be published on the contest site on 2 January 2012.
