As part of the inaugural Social Star Awards to be held at Marina Bay Sands on 23 May 2013, Starcount has also organised the Singapore Social Concerts at The Meadow at Gardens by they Bay. An estimated 15 hundred attendees and millions of hits on YouTube are expected.
Hollywood actors Jessica Alba and Jeremy Piven are the co-hosts of the awards which will begin online on 22 May and includes 288 categories awarded to the most popular personalities and brands in music, movies, television, sports and games. Live performance from a list of international superstars including Aerosmith, CeeLo Green, PSY, Carly Rae Jepsen, Eric Benet and Blush will be featured.
CeeLo Green, Carly Rae Jepsen, Psy and Blush will perform on 24 May 2013 while Aerosmith and special guests perform on 25 May 2013.
We caught up with rock legend, Aerosmith at the press conference this afternoon. Aerosmith promises a sensational performance.
“We are going to do something we’ve never done before, a complete full show on YouTube. We are going to mash it up with some of the best.”
Formed in 1970 in Boston, Aerosmith is sometimes referred to as ‘America’s Greatest Rock and Roll Band’. When asked for the secrets behind their electrifying energy throughout the decades, singer Steven Tyler replied “it’s the music that keeps me young”
