Deliveroo has adopted the Australasia exhibit at the Singapore Zoo for S$120,000 as part of its partnership with Wildlife Reserves Singapore. This will go towards the care and welfare of these animals and 15,000 animal residents across the four wildlife parks operated by WRS.

The exhibit is home to grey kangaroos, Goodfellow’s tree kangaroos, agile wallabies, magpie geese and a cassowary.

World Wildlife Day on 3 March 2021 celebrates all wildlife and promotes conservation. In celebration of this and to promote the importance of conservation, Deliveroo will be giving away four Singapore Zoo tickets worth S$140 to 14 lucky customers who spend a minimum of S$30 on Deliveroo, to visit as a family and connect with wildlife.

Deliveroo is also working with WRS to offer exclusive experiences for its customers once Covid-19 eases such as meeting and feeding the furry residents of the Australasia exhibit.

Deliveroo has also adopted Malolo, a Goodfellow’s tree kangaroo joey residing in the Australasia exhibit, who coincidentally turned one year old earlier this month. Malolo, whose name translates to ‘rest’ in Tok Pisin (a Papua New Guinea dialect), was affectionately named by Deliveroo fans through a Facebook contest that garnered over 300 comments. Deliveroo and WRS treated Malolo and his kanga mum, Nupela, to a yummy birthday cake.
