BBC Knowledge (StarHub Channel 407) will be premiering a one episode special of Prince Harry: Frontline Afghanistan on 27 March 2013, Wednesday at 7.55pm. This documentary tells the story of the third in line to the throne’s experiences in Afghanistan.
Prince Harry is the first member of the British Royal Family to see active combat since his uncle, the Duke of York, fought in the Falklands War. Captain Wales, as Prince Harry is known in the military, arrived for his second tour of duty in Afghanistan in September last year as an attack helicopter co-pilot, returning four months later in January this year.
Catch footage of Prince Harry at work at Camp Bastion as he lives the life of a normal soldier, relaxing and socialising with colleagues. Prince Harry offers insights into his army life and shares opinions of and battles with the media and discusses the Las Vegas trip which caused tabloid headlines last year.
This BBC production is presented by Richard Bacon, produced by Mark Alden and executive producer Darren Kemp.
