Singaporean chefs Shen Tan, Culinary Director with Gastrogig and Chef de Cuisine at Le Bistrot du Sommelier, Brandon Foo will be making their appearance in TLC’s latest three-part series “My Taste of Hong Kong”. The duo join Arnold Poernomo and Edwin Lau from Indonesia, Anis Nabilah from Malaysia and Duangporn ‘Bo’ Songvisava from Thailand as they bring audiences around the world through a tantalising gastronomic journey of Hong Kong cuisines as well as the city as a destination.
The series will be hosted by Hong Kong veteran entertainment writer and avid foodie Michelle Loo. Michelle hosted the chefs to localise and enrich their Hong Kong experiences which leads to the presentation of a Hong Kong inspired dish that synchronise with the DNAs of Hong Kong.
‘My Taste of Hong Kong’ is a collaboration between Hong Kong Tourism Board and Discovery Networks Asia Pacific and was originally scheduled to premiere on TLC (Starhub CH 427) every Tuesday at 10pm (Singapore and Hong Kong) from 14 October.
The series is postponed to a yet to be announced date due to the current political situation in Hong Kong.
