Nur Fazura shares her life, loves, challenges, triumphs and joys in E!’s latest and first miniseries to feature a Malaysian personality. Titled ‘Facing Up To Fazura’, the five 30minute miniseries is produced by Matchbox Asia and will premiere across Asia on E! on 14 December 2014 at 8pm in Indonesia, 9pm in Singapore and 10pm in Malaysia.
Get insights into Fazura’s often controversial life on and off the camera. This 31 year vivacious socialite is not only a pretty face, but also talented as an actress, television host and VJ. She has hosted television show Teens World and had a leading role in Bicara Hati in 2004 which earned her an award nomination. She also had a lead role in Gol & Gincu the next year. She has since been in more than 10 shows and also hosted MTV Jus and MTV Pop Inc as MTV Asia’s VJ.
Fazura was born in Pekan in Pahang, Malaysia on 27 September 1983. She describes herself in her Twitter profile of 1.08 million followers as human, actress, soldier of love, animal lover and fashion enthusiast.
She attended Fashion Design College to study fashion but did not complete the course because she lost interest. Acting was the impetus for her to leave fashion design. Fazura went back to fashion in 2012 when she opened her boutique ‘House of Doll’ at Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.
She hopes to show her world to the public through ‘Facing Up To Fazura’. Fazura’s friends and colleagues from the entertainment, film and fashion arena will also be making guest appearances.
