Initially located at a temporary location on level two at 277A South Bridge Road, The Knightsbridge Clinic has just completed renovations for its permanent location on level three in the same building featuring a luxurious environment.

The Knightsbridge Clinic is positioned as a premier medical aesthetics clinic in Singapore. One would never expect a clinic with such opulent ambience in the Chinatown area which is also within walking distance to Maxwell Food Centre.

We got a preview of the clinic before it opens on 28 November 2015 and were impressed with the calming earthy colour scheme and choice of decor from Asian artisans.

When you get to level three, you would be welcomed by a facade of mirrors and a door that opens up into a welcoming reception area. A bespoke carpet designed by Michael Chung lends a grounded feel in the clinic.

A gold sun ray mirror fills the right wall while what used to be a coffee tree adds sophistication into the reception area.

As you leave the reception area and get to the walkway leading to the consultation area, check out Justin Lin’s “Through The Thicket of Roots, A Soft Glimmer” installation. Made of polished and oxidised brass and stainless steel, the hanging brass sculptures was commissioned for The Knightsbridge Clinic with inspirations from the swaying tendrils of the banyan tree roots. The thin lines of each brass element is bent in metal like lines of a drawing, transit from structured and organised in the top to more organic and free form as they approach the floor.

There are three treatment rooms at the clinic as well as a Doctor’s consultation room. In the centre is a private dressing room as well as a rest area.

Private Dressing Room and Living Room

The waiting area reminds me of a living room in any home. Comfortable, a place for friends and family to gather together, chat and watch some television. In the clinic, this is where customers can sit and wait in comfort as if this was their own living room.

The changing room offers lockers for you to leave your belongings and to change before and after your treatments.

The design of two toilets at The Knightsbridge Clinic are not spared from the details that have been put into designing the clinic. One of the two toilets was designed to give you the feeling of being in a toilet in a luxury train journey with brass mirrors within the toilet.

So the next time you visit The Knightsbridge Clinic, you may just want to stay for as long as you can as you soak in the comfort here.

Today The Knightsbridge Clinic is helmed by Dr. Israr Wong Kai Jie whose focus is on enhancing one’s beauty with medical science and achieving a natural-looking result with a wholesome approach from the inside out.

The Knightsbridge Clinic is located at 277B South Bridge Road.
