25 April 2012, Hong Kong – Online professional network opened its latest office in Hong Kong yesterday, making it their 25th office globally and 9th within Asia Pacific. The continued growth in Asia Pacific over the past year has seen regional headquarters open in Singapore in May last year as well as offices opening in Bengaluru, Melbourne, Perth and Tokyo with local languages sites in Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia, Japanese and Korean in 2011. There are 25 million members in Asia Pacific out of the 150 million members globally.
The Hong Kong office will support up to half a million LinkedIn members in the territory an the millions in the North Asia region. It will also act as a drive for the company’s growth, providing LinkedIn Hiring Solutions, Marketing Solutions and Premium Subscriptions. A team of six local staff across the marketing solutions, hiring solutions and marketing will begin the operations there.
