I was recently sent a set of Sothys Homme skincare products to try. I’ve come across the brand previously at spas around the world and right here in Singapore but never really used this brand till now.
Of the three items I received, I particularly like the Energising face cleanser (S$82) which is also packaged in a handy 125ml size tube which will come in handy for my travels. My Aesop facial cleanser is in large glass bottles which is too heavy and fragile to carry around or the 200ml Murad Refreshing Cleanser and the 120g SK-II Moisturising Cleanser are in much larger bigger tubes that take up precious space in the luggage.
Sothy’s Energising face cleanser deep cleanses the skin of impurities in a single step. It cleanses, exfoliates and revives the complexion. Use as a gentle daily scrub and cleanser. Once a week you can leave it on as a clarifying mask for five to 10 minutes and wash off. It is lightly scented which is perfect and does not dry my combination skin.
The cleanser contains volcanic rock that cleanses and removes toxins and the rhyolite grains removes impurities.
The Soothing Aftershave Balm (S$92) is packaged in a 50ml tube. Apply the thick balm on your face and neck after shaving to prevent spots caused by shaving. Active ingredients include volcanic rock which boosts and detoxifies and macadamia oil which softens weakened skin. A light aromatic, musky and woody scent has been added into the product to help calm you down yet make you feel refreshed.
I should probably sleep more regular hours and reduce working late into the night to finish up stories for SUPERADRIANME.com or SUPERTRAVELME.com. Sothy’s 15 ml Homme Energising Eye Roll-On (S$103) helps to reduce puffiness and reduce dark circles, visibly smoothen wrinkles and hydrate the sensitive eye contour area. Active ingredients include volcanic rock, global complex targeting wrinkles which has an immediate tightening effect because of the natural polysaccharide, polyphenol and oat extract. It also contains a hydra-protective complex of urea derivative, hyaluronic acid and glycerin to nourish and protect the eye contour. You can apply the roll-on before any skin care products in the morning and at night. Roll over the skin from the inner corner of your eye towards the temple.
