Mattress toppers are great if your bed is too soft. airweave is a Japanese bedding brand that has developed and designed its products after in-depth sleep studies conducted with research and teaching institutions. These new airweave mattress toppers help you roll-over easily mid-slumber which correlates to a deeper, more restful sleep.

The shoulder area of the new airweave is softer to help maintain a straight body axis so you can turn over easily. Weight of your body is dispersed through its high resilience properties. Unlike mattresses, you can wash the whole airweave topper.

Many athletes have become loyal airweave users including Professional Golfer Bubba Watson, Asia’s Number One Men’s Tennis star Kei Nishikori and Olympic gold medal-winning swimmer Ryan Lochte. airweave Inc has also been working with top Japanese athletes in its advertisements. Many of these top athletes bring their airweave mattresses when they travel for their competitions.

The mattress topper is made of three-dimensional, entwined resin fibres that allows air to occupy more than 90% of the internal material. It provides a unique breathable and permeable supportive and adaptable sleep surface. Each side of the topper has a temperature specific cover that helps maintain the optimal sleep environment. One side of the topper is warm while the other is cool. Another way to get a good night’s sleep is to make sure you get one of these top-rated mattresses.

The Fairmont Singapore offers the airweave mattress topper when guests feedback that their mattress is too soft.  The hotel’s North Tower guestrooms feature Sealy Posturepedic mattress while those in the South Tower feature mattresses by Stearns & Foster.

And for guests staying in the Executive Club rooms can also request for different types of pillows from the hotel’s pillow menu to get a better sleep.

The Fairmont Singapore has 88 airweave mattress toppers and most requests so far come from Hong Kong guests.

So if you were thinking of giving it a try before purchasing one for your home, a staycation at the Fairmont Singapore could just be on your next agenda. I tried it during a stay at the hotel and slept like a baby. Not sure if I could attribute it to the mattress topper in just one night or the fact that I usually sleep like a baby anyway.
