Aēsop Rōzu

Aesop Launches Rozu Fragrance in Singapore. Online Store Available during Circuit Breaker

Aēsop has launched its fourth and latest fragrance globally on 20 April 2020. Rōzu Eau de Parfum is its first floral fragrance with an overall aroma of the Rose.

The life, work and enthusiasms of celebrated French modernist designer Charlotte Perriand has been the inspiration of this unisex fragrance. During her life from 1903 to 1999, Charlotte Perriand enjoyed a stellar career influenced by her extensive travels, her egalitarianism, a love of wild outdoors and modernism. She was adventurous and compassionate.

Rōzu is created in partnership with long-term collaborator, perfumer Barnabé Fillion. It pays homage to the Wabara garden rose that bears Perriand’s name, with vibrant Shiso accords that reference her lifelong love of Japan and the alpine environments.

To date, Aēsop has worked with prominent French perfumers Barnabé Fillion and Céline Barel to develop four fragrances. Fillion is also the nose behind a collection of Aromatique Room Sprays.

My favourite fragrance products from Aēsop include the Eau de Parfum Hwyl, Deodorants and aromatic room sprays.

The 50ml unisex fragrance is available for S$235 at Aēsop Online and Aēsop signature stores and counters after it is allowed to reopen after the end of Circuit Breaker measures announced by the Singapore government. Aēsop Online was temporarily unavailable and recently reopened for business on 16 April 2020.

Rōzu is also Aēsop’s most expensive Eau de Parfum. The 50ml Marrakech Intense EDT spray is priced at S$115, the Tacit EDP spray is priced at S$155 and Hwyl EDP spray at S$165
