Turkish Airlines launched a new branding campaign on 3 December 2013 featuring its two global brand ambassadors, basketball star Kobe Bryant and football icon Lionel Messi. In this new brand campaign, the two are back in this epic face-off for selfie supremacy. Now doesn’t that sound all too familiar in a world of selfies? Turkish Airlines is using this campaign to send a message of global reach that it flies to more countries than any other where the superstars show up and show off across the globe.

Turkish Airlines has in recent years expanded its fleet with a series of large-scale aircraft orders, continual network expansion and implementation of investments designed to make it a truly global brand to substantiate its “Globally Yours” motto. The airline aims to bring the passenger experience to a new level with its expanded fleet and to offer them pleasant surprises and bringing them a diverse and memorable travel experience. Some enhancements include a new catering concept offering “Samovar” to heat water and “Candle Light” features as well as “flying Chiefs” on long haul flights, an inflight entertainment system with close to 400 films and 1,000 CD albums and radio and news channels. The airline offers “Invest On Board” digital platform that lets passengers encounter ideas presented by important business figures from around the world when flying.
