Monopoly Singapore: Then & Now Launched

Monopoly Singapore Then and Now

12 June 2012, Singapore – Hasbro introduces the world’s first two-sided Monopoly Board in Singapore – ‘Monopoly Singapore: Then and Now” which is available for S$79.90 at Toys ‘R’ Us and all major departmental stores.

Themes: This new version features iconic past and present Singapore landmarks on both sides of the board so that you can choose which era to play. However the rules and route to making as much money and monopolising properties remain the same.

Payment: You can also deal in the game the traditional way with paper cash in the “Then” era or the modern way with an electronic banking unit that allows trading of properties in millions in the “Now” era. Tokens: The tokens also come in new designs bearing old school delights of yesteryear including the Tiffin Carrier, Trishaw, Wooden Clog and contemporary inventions of today including Airplane, Cabriolet and Electronic Tablet. Community Chest and Chance Cards and Title Deeds: These cards are printed to reflect the different era. Short blurbs of history and current use of landmarks are indicated on the title deeds.
