12 April 2011, Singapore – Ben & Jerry did their sixth annual Free Cone Day today at ten Ben & Jerry’s scoop shops islandwide from 12pm to 7pm attracting over 62,000 ice cream fans which exceeded last year’s 55,800.
Consumers got free Clusterfluff, Strawberry Cheesecake, Phish Food, A Cookie Affair or Vanilla ice cream on Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day.
Ben & Jerry’s launched its first new flavour of the year earlier this month. Made with a peanut butter ice cream base, showered with caramel cluster pieces, and draped with generous swirls of marshmallow before being topped off with luscious whirls of peanut butter for good measure, the new flavour Clusterfluff was borned.
Ben & Jerry’s Cowmobile roamed Singapore dispensing scoops of Clusterfluff to any fans who requested a visit on its Facebook Fan Page.
This year Ben & Jerry partnered Dyslexia Association of Singapore as its beneficiary for the Free Cone Day. Consumers were encouraged to donate any amount by topping up the donation box in support for DAS programmes for children from lower income families who struggle with learning difficulties.
