Dim Sum Dollies returns this year with a Part 2 of The History of Singapore from 11 to 23 December 2014 at the Esplanade Theatre. Tickets to the two-hour show are available from SISTIC from S$48 to S$118 for the Preview on 11 December 2014 and S$58 to S$138 for standard shows.

The Dollies celebrate a people’s history of every Singaporean’s role in shaping the Singapore we know today. The Dollies will make lighting quick costume changes, switching from icon to icon and completely redrawing the boundaries of comedy on the Esplanade stage.

The newest Dolly, Denise Tan will join Selena Tan and Pam Oei to charm the audience once again.

Some of the scenes that you can expect are:

  • The ‘Two is enough’ girls meet the Ribena kids
  • Kallang roars and Talentime scores
  • The Courtesy Lion takes on the Spitting Merlion
  • The Anson Bye-Bye-elections and the ISA Wave of detentions Great Singapore inventions – CPF, HDB, COE, GST and
  • ERP The Singapore River clean-up and the Mas Selamat mess-up

Dim Sum Dollies is directed by Glen Goei. Book and lyrics by Selena Tan and music by Elaine Chan and choreography by George Chan.
