Asia’s new generation action hero and Taiwanese Canadian actor, Eddie Peng or Yuyan peng is in Singapore as Longines Ambassador of Elegance where he will make an appearance at the Longines Singapore Gold Cup 2014 later today at the Singapore Turf Club. He spoke to the media at Fullerton Bay Hotel at noon today and spoke in great lengths about his movies and experience with another hearthrob actor, Korean Choi Siwon.
Eddie has recently concluded filming for Bill Kong film Rise of the Legend, a revival of the classic martial-arts genre where he plays the iconic kung-fu master Wong Fei Hung. The 32 year old star spends months getting into a role both mentally and physically.
Eddie recounts working with Choi Siwon from Super Junior for Dante Lam’s upcoming cycling film ‘To The Forte’. Siwon calls Eddie OPPA while Eddie brings packed lunch made by his mum and shares the meal with Siwon at the movie set. Siwon was surprised the Eddie as so much more older than himself.
The charismatic Eddie was very accommodating to the journalists this afternoon. Whenever he replies, he speaks fervently and looks at each person who asked the questions. He also accommodated shots with our writer Dennis.
