Air France’s latest amenity kit offering for Business Class customers has made its way to Singapore on its Paris – Singapore flights. We recently flew on Air France’s inaugural fifth freedom flight between Singapore and Jakarta earlier this month on Business Class and were pleasantly surprised that the airline gives out amenity kits for such a short flight of less than two hours. One amenity kit is given to each passenger shortly after take off. When available you can request for one in your favourite colour.
Note: A new version has replaced this version. Read about that here.
The new cloth amenity kit bag bears a herring bone motif synonymous with Air France and are styled after the amenity kits given out in Air France’s Concorde flights previously. They are available in four colours and are by far one of the prettiest airline amenity kit cases I have come across.
Inside the bag are imprints of Air France content such as photos of the Air France Concorde or images of Cabin Crew. The contents in this stylish bag are the same with no differentiation for men and women. The bag makes a small clutch for your smartphone, wallet and your passport after emptying out the original contents.
Air France Business Class Amenity Kit Contents
- 5ml Clarins Paris HydraQuench Cream-Gel for Normal to Combination Skins
- Lip Gloss
- 60ml Colgate Plax mouth wash
- Toothbrush with a cap to protect the bristles
- 19ml Colgate Total Original tooth paste
- Comb
- Shoe horn
- Eye shades (which are a little too tight for me)
- A pair of 3M 1100 ear plugs
We understand Air France changes the design of these amenity kits every half annually.
A separate sealed bag containing disposable slippers, socks and hygiene covers for the Sennheiser headphones are provided. The bag can be used to keep your slippers should you want to bring them down with you after the flight.
Inside the Business Class toilets, there are other amenities available include Clarins Alcohol Free Toning Lotion with camomile and Clarin Cleansing Milk with Alpine Herbs so you can freshen up. Cotton swabs and wet wipes are available as well. What’s missing is a bottle of moisturiser or perhaps face mist.
(Update: 19 February 2015 – A new business class amenity kit has been introduced. Read about it here.)
