Haute Couturier Guo Pei at FIDe Fashion Week 2013

Guo Pei, one of the first generation of Chinese designers, created China Huate Couture close to two decades ago. Popularised with elements of Chinese traditional culture within her designs, guests at Marina Bay Sands were treated to a drama spectacle when the fashion runway at FIDe Fashion Week 2013 was filled up by models strutting down in Guo Pei’s creations. Not new to Singapore, Guo Pei presented her ‘Ci’ collection in Singapore last year during the inaugural Digital Fashion Week exactly a year ago.

The 46 year old Beijing-born designer has dressed many Chinese A-listersFan Bingbing and Li Bingbing , Zhang Zhiyi, Zhang Ye and Song Zhuyin who brought the Guo Pei brand to an international audience by performed at the Beijing Olympics in a crystal-studded Guo Pei gown.
