During Ramadan, StraitsKitchen at Grand Hyatt Singapore offers a regal Egyptian spread of cold and hot mezze selection, a shawarma station complemented by tender grilled meat and fresh seafood from the charcoal grill, and decadent sweets for Iftar.
Prepared by guest chefs from Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt, Chef de Partie, Abo Zied Mohamed Masoud El Shazly and Commis de Cuisine, Mahmoud Hamed Abdalla Mahmoud are in Singapore to prepare dishes such as Bessara, Labna, Lamb with Okra and Beef Kamoniah. You can also expect Babganoush, Vermicelli Soup, Mahashi, Prawns Taouk and Beef Kofta with Egyptian Spices.
You can also expect traditional desserts such as Candied Pistachio and Ladida enjoyed by royalty previously and other popular Middle Eastern desserts such as Besbaousa, Mushabbek and Golash.
Iftar Buffet is available daily from 6.30pm to 10.30pm from 8 July to 8 August 2013 at S$68++ (Adult) and S$38++ (Child) which also includes free flow of selected juices, tea tarik and coffee tarik. Hotel prayer rooms for diners to perform the Maghrib prayers are also provided for the convenience of Muslim guests.
