Canon EOS 70D is a Wi-Fi enabled DSLR embedded with a powerful DIGIC 5+ image processor and a 20.2-megapixel APS-C sized CMOS sensor. It is also the first model in the EOS series to showcase the new Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology, a phase-difference autofocus (AF) technology, that let it achieves approximately 30% faster focusing speeds and delivers improved Movie Servo AF tracking during Live View shooting.
The new Canon EOS 70D will be available in Singapore end of August 2013 via authorised Canon dealers.
With the 19-point all cross type AF system for a wider AF area coverage, users are ensured with fast and accurate focusing at all times. Capable of an impressive continuous shooting speed of 7 frames per second and have an ISO speed range from 100 to 12800 (expandable to 25600), the Canon EOS 70D is also slightly smaller than its predecessor Canon EOS 60D.
The built-in WiFi connectivity makes photo sharing easier as you shoot and remote shooting made possible with the free EOS Remote app on both Apple App Store and Google Play. Canon is also introducing a new optional battery grip for the EOS 70D that provides an easier vertical grip and supports high-volume shooting when fitted with an additional battery.
