MELT – The World Cafe  at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore will be having a two nights only A Thousand Lobsters Extravaganza dinner buffet, featuring a spread of 1,000 lobsters prepared in a variety of more than 20 ways each night. Heading this lobster feast is the recently-appointed Chef de Cuisine, Chef Lincoln Lim, who have decade’s worth of culinary experience with top hotels and restaurants under his belt.

To satisfy your discerning palate, the Lobster Thermidor delights with its cook-to-order sweet juicy crustacean stuffed in its own shell, drizzled with creamy white wine sauce, and served with an oven-browned cheese crust. For an Asian twist in the lobster feast, look out for Tandoori Lobster or the Singapore Lobster Laksa.

More than just a lobster feast, the buffet draws attention to its Western show kitchen, where diners can select live maine lobsters on display, and watch the experienced  chefs sauté them with soft herbs, tomatoes and aromatic butter.

A Thousand Lobsters Extravaganza is available only on Wednesdays, 3 and 17 July 2013, from 6.30pm10pm, priced at S$198 per person, inclusive of juices and soft drinks or S$ 228 per person with unlimited flow or Veuve Cliquot Champagne, wines, beers, cocktails, juices and soft drinks.
