18 January 2013, Singapore – The new Dell Inspiron laptops 14, 15, 14R & 15R are not just affordable, they are also optimized for better performance with improved battery life in packages that are thinner than its predecessors. Honouring Dell’s award winning Inspiron flagship, these new laptops are equipped with the latest technology, increased battery capacities, runs the new energy-efficient processors and they are 15% lighter and 17% slimmer than the previous generation.
The laptops are available with Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processor options, and support higher-end features like 3×3 dual-band wireless support based on the latest Wi-Fi N standards, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI 1.4a, and stereo speakers with Waves MaxxAudio 4 processing that was introduced in the high-end XPS laptops. All the touchpads are also optimized to take advantage of multi-touch gestures in Windows 8.
Dell Inspiron 14 & 15
The Dell Inspiron 14 and 15 are designed for those who want the best features at the most affordable prices in 14″ and 15″ display respectively. The Dell Inspiron 14 and 15 come in a black matte textured finish inside with a Chiclet keyboard and support up to 8GB system RAM and hard drive options up to 1TB. The standard Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics can also get an optional upgrade to either NVIDIA GeForce or AMD Radeon graphics cards with either 1 or 2GB of video memory. Both the Inspiron 14 and 15 feature a 720p WLED 1366 x 768 display with Truelife.

Dell Inspiron 14R & 15R
Dell offers the new mainstream Inspiron 14R and 15R that come standard with the Moon Silver brushed aluminum finish, but can also be ordered in optional Peacock Blue, Fire Red, or Lotus Pink colors. Beyond that, the mainstream Inspiron 15R can be ordered with an optional full HD display that supports 1080p (1920 x 1080 resolution) with an anti-glare finish.
