Singapore Tops International Destinations By Malaysians: TripAdvisor

13 December 2012, Singapore – It is no surprise Singapore tops international destinations viewed on TripAdvisor by Malaysians.   The ranking of the destinations is calculated based on Malaysian IP addresses on Tripadvisor.com between 1 January to 30 November this year.

Short-haul Asian destinations seem to be popular as well with eight other Asian destinations making the list.  The only long haul destination in the list is London.

3. Hong Kong
4. Krabi Town
5. Kuta
6. Seoul
7. Bandung
8. Taipei
9. London
10. Patong

Domestically, Kuala Lumpur tops the Malaysian city list where the locals travel to visit friends and relatives, shop, vacation and entertainment and recreation according to a Department of Statistics Domestic Tourism Survey 2011.
