11 November 2012, Singapore – 19 year old Italian golfer Matteo Manssero clinched the top spot at the Barclays Singapore Open 2012 today finishing his game with a 13-under par 271 to take home the coveted prize money of US$1 million. South African golfer Louis Oosthuizen came in the runner-up following an intense third play-off with US$666,660 prize money. 156 players contested this year at Sentosa Golf Club from 7 to 11 November 2012.
Emirates is in its fourth year as the Official Airline for the Barclays Singapore Open. It held a “Closest-to-the-Pin” contest in conjunction with the Professional Amateur (Pro-Am) tournament.
