15 September 2012, Singapore – This mid autumn festival, Hua Ting at Orchard Hotel offers new moon cake additions by Masterchefs Chan Kwok and Lap Fai including White Lotus Custard with Hazlenuts where the salted egg yolk is replaced with custard. The White Lotus Custard with Hazelnuts retail at S$17 per piece.
Other traditional baked mooncakes include the White Lotus Paste with Macadamia Nuts (S$15 per piece), Seeds of Harmony (Assorted Nuts S$17 per piece), White Lotus Paste with Double Yolk and Macadamia Nuts (S$17 per piece), White Lotus Piece with Single Yolk and Macadamia Nuts (S$16 per piece) and Lotus Paste with Single Yolk and Macadamia Nuts (S$16 per piece).
The signature snow skin mooncakes at Hua Ting include the Mini Snow Skin Beetroot with Red Wine and Cranberry Paste (S$7.50 per piece), Mini Snow Skin Custard with Yolk (S$7.50 per piece), Mini Snow Skin White Lotus Paste with Yolk (S$7.50 per piece), Mini Snow Skin Green Tea Paste with Yolk (S$7.50 per piece) and Mini Snow Skin Green Tea Twist with Yolk (S$7.50 per piece).
Hua Ting’s mooncakes are on sale at the Mooncake Booth at Orchard Hotel’s lobby from 12noon to 8pm daily till 30 September 2012.
