W Taipei Celebrates Taiwan LGBT Pride Parade

13 September 2012, Taipei, Taiwan – The largest Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Pride Parade and Parties in Asia is expected from 26 to 28 October 2012 in Taipei Taiwan. This year is the 10th year the LGBT Pride Parade is organised here.  The main topic this year will be “Same-sex Marriage and Couple Rights” and the organisers are expecting more than 50,000 participants this year.  This year the parade will start from Ketagalan Boulevard on 27 October 2012.

W Taipei is offering a special “Pride in Taiwan” room package from 23 October to 31 October 2012.  The hotel will make a 5% room package donation to Taiwan Tongzhi (LGBT) Hotline Association to support its work for the Taiwan LGBT community, family and LGBT equal rights – to eliminate LGBT discrimination in Taiwan.

For TW$11,800, you get a one night stay in a Wonderful Room, welcome cocktails for two, Rainbow in-room welcome expression, Play Pack, SWEAT Gym access with daily protein drinks for two and special rates for “Taiwan Pride 3-party VIP tickets” (not included in the room packages and up to 2 tickets per room).
