Celebrate Maifest with Erdinger

30 April 2012, Singapore – For the first time in Asia, German wheat beer brand Erdinger is set to celebrate with Maifest on 4 and 5 May 2012 at Clark Quay Central Fountain from 7pm to 11pm.

The annual festival, Maifest is celebrated by Germans around the world to welcome the arrival of Spring where party revelers congregate to indulge in days of merry-making with beer, sumptuous food, music and performances.

Enjoy a night of merry-making with Erdinger and German food.  Sample Erdinger Pikantus, a seasonal brew with a 7.3% alcohol content and dance around round the Maibaum (Maypole) without having to travel all the way to Germany.   The Maibaum is typically erected at the centre of every Maifest venue and decorated with multi-coloured ribbons and items that represent the local trades and professions.  Dancing around it is believed to bring good luck and wealth.
