11 April 2011, Singapore – This week from today till 15 April 2011, the Four Seasons Hotel Singapore showcases an exclusive series of Healthy Gourmet lunches and dinners prepared by Amanda Gale, executive chef of the renowned COMO Shambhala Estate.  The SUPERFOODS REVOLUTION: Cuisine for Life is part of a unique wellness experience by Gale using organic ingredients provided by SuperNature at Four Season Hotel Singapore’s One-Ninety Restaurant.

Amanda Gale creates an exclusive new menu, which centres around fresh and nutrient-rich ingredients synonymous with nutrition and health.  COMO Shambala cuisine offers enzyme-rich, healthy yet delcious menus, with a strong focus on Superfoods, organic ingredients and simple, natural preparation.  Its cuisine is an integral part of the award-winning wellness concept of COMO Shambhala, which advocates a consultative approach to individual holistic wellness, embracing all modalities of well-being.  Its philosophy has a strong foundation with its nutrient-dense cuisine as a cornerstone to a healthy lifestyle.

Available as a semi buffet lunch at S$48++ with starters and dessert in a buffet selection with main courses as a la carte items or dinner a la carte starting at S$18++ for appertizers, S$32++ for main courses and S$15++ for desserts.  Amanda Gale will be supported by Executive Chef Bruno Correa to prepare dishes such as the Grilled Salmon with Cauliflower Tabbouleh, Pomegranate, Cherry Tomatoes and Smoked Eggplant Puree, with desserts such as Vegan Chocolate Mousse with Candied Orange and Pistachio.

Cooking Demonstrations

If you intend to learn a tip or two about Superfoods, Raw Cuisine or Anti-Ageing, Amanda will be hosting 3 cooking demonstrations.

12 April 2011 – Superfoods
13 April 2011 – Raw Cuisine
14 April 2011 – Anti-Ageing

A COMO Shambhala nutritionist will also be in residence to conduct a series of nutritional talks enabling attendees to continue good habits at home.

You can get tickets for the cooking demonstrations at S$120++ which will take place from 4pm to 6pm.  Reservations are on a first come-first served basis from One-Ninety restaurant at (65) 6831-7250
