SKECHERS Friendship Walk 2021 returns in August 2021 for its second consecutive year as an online edition. This year’s walk will be held between 2 to 29 August 2021. The event is free of charge with add ons for an additional fee. Accumulate steps on your fitness tracker or device to reach different step goals across the two-week period.
The first Skechers Friendship Walk was held in Singapore in 2018. Last year was the first time it was transformed into an online Walk format. I participated for the first time last year, exploring parts of Singapore while earning myself a completion medal. Over 12,000 other participants joined in to track their walk distance in the two-week event.
Skechers rewards are up for grabs. Participants will receive an exclusive voucher upon sign-up for 30% off GOwalk footwear. Skechers’ signature walking shoe series. When you attain the step count in at least one category, there will be a ‘Buy 1 Get 1 Free’ voucher when you complete the Walk. The first category requires casual runners and walking enthusiasts to complete 50,000 accumulative steps.

The GOwalk 6 series, is an update in the brand’s signature GOwalk series. The new GOwalk 6 brings together the Ultra GO cushioning midsole with ultra-light Hyper Pillars. For every sign-up, Skechers will pledge S$1 for APSN beneficiaries. APSN is a social service agency that provides special education for individuals with mild intellectual disabilities. The total amount donated will be used for purchasing shoes for APSN special needs beneficiaries.
