Smith Street Taps

Smith Street Taps has launched its online store, all thanks to COVID-19. Our friends at SST have been resisting this because they wanted the authenticity of running like a traditional hawker stall.

SST previously only accepted cash at its hawker stall, collecting notes and coins and dumping them into a plastic bucket. But with more hawkers accepting digital payments and some setting up online presence to stay alive, Smith Street Taps no longer had any excuse not to go online.

You are able to get a selection of beers & meads from breweries such as 3 Ravens, Boatrocker, Deeds, Hop Nation Brewing, Lion City Meadery, Moon Dog and Sailors Grave.

Beer bundles are perfect for those who can’t decide what to get. There is the Introduction Bundle from Dainton Brewery for S$56 instead of S$61.40 or from Hop Nation at S$39 instead of S$43.10.

You can also order sakes on the site. There is our favourite 720 ml Keitgetsu Junmai Daiginjo CEL 24 that is selling for SS64 or the Dewazakura Junmai Daiginjo Yukimegami 48 at S$70 amongst a few others.

You can still head down to Smith Streets Taps and enjoy beers on tap at Chinatown Complex Food Centre, 335 Smith Street, #02-262, Singapore 050335. They operate from 5.30 pm to 9.30 pm from Tuesdays to Fridays and from 2 pm to 9.30 pm on Saturdays.
