Danish watch company Nordgreen from Copenhagen has partnered with Jakob Wagner, the Bang & Olufsen headset designer to capture the minimalistic style of the city, combined with its deeply enrooted values in a timeless timepiece. Jakob has spent over 25 years creating products for iconic Scandinavian brands.
Nordgreen has recently launched 16 localised websites globally including in Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Japan, and several countries across the EU.
What I like about Nordgreen watches is the simple yet elegant design. The watch face is uncluttered and it is all in the detail. I don’t know how they manage to make those numbers on the day calendar so small. I sometimes need to squint to see the date, just because it is almost tiny.
The watches are available in gun metal, rose gold or silver and watch faces in two sizes – 36mm and 40mm. There are few options for the straps. Straps are available in black, brown, navy, white, rose gold or silver. You have a choice of straps including croc leather, leather, nylon, mesh.
Changing the strap is simple. Just click and remove so you can change the straps to fit your outfit. Additional straps are available from S$69.
Nordgreen watches are not expensive. Prices start from S$200 and S$350. Visit Nordgreen online to check out the designs.
