The Star Wars Run Singapore 2017 will be held for the first time in Singapore on 6 May 2017. The night run through Marina Bay Waterfront to be held at Marina Bay area, to be confirmed at a later date,  is part of the May the 4th celebrations and to mark the 40th anniversary of the release of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.

Choose from the 4.5 km or 10 km. For the non-competitive 4.5km run, you can choose to run on the light side or follow the footsteps of Darth Vader and walk on the Dark Side.

Early bird registration is available from 13 February to 12 March 2017. The 10km competitive run costs S$75 while the 4.5km Non-Competitive Run costs S$70.

Exclusive Star Wars Run goodie bags offers a light side or dark side option for walkers or runners. Light Side goodie bag comes with a drawstring bag, towel, Yoda plush toy, participant’s tee, limited edition commemorative medal. The Dark Side goodie bag comes with a drawstring bag, towel, Darth Vader plush toy, participant’s tee, limited edition commemorative medal. Race pack collections are from 21 to 23 April 2017 at City Square Mall indoor atrium A & B or at the race village on the day of the race.

You can also purchase the Star Wars Electronic Lightsaber by Hasbro at a discounted price of S$25 instead of the usual S$39.90. Dark Side gets Red and Light Side gets a Blue lightsaber while stocks last.
