Business travellers cannot live without technology when travelling, revealed a survey of 100 frequent business travellers across the region conducted by Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Beach Road. Must have electronic devices when staying abroad for an extended period of time include laptops, tablets and music players. Family photographs or mementos have now been replaced by electronic advancement. Now gadgets remind people of home instead. Ready-to-cook pastes and pre-mixes from home came in at a close second after electronic gadgets.
As with the majority of leisure travellers, some 90% of business travellers felt that free Wi-Fi is the most important amenity in any accommodation. This allows travellers to connect with loved ones at home. Keeping fit is also a key component. 50% of travellers aim to keep up with their regular fitness routine. One third of travellers surveyed work out within 24 hours of settling in their new working environment.
