LinkedIn revamps its mobile app for Android and iOS which is available in 15 languages including Bahasa Malaysia and traditional and modern Chinese. The first major revamp in two years, the new app as well as the mobile web browser version let you get relevant and timely professional insights as well as discover and engage in discussions on LinkedIn.
The revamped app will also introduce sponsored content following suit from January for its iPad app. Ads will be shown in the news stream as part of LinkedIn’s ‘small test’.
LinkedIn shared that an average of 27% of unique visitors to LinkedIn in the last quarter of 2012 came from mobile apps as compared to 15% a year ago.
