Sony Xperia Z and Xperia ZL Classy, Sophisticated Smartphones

17 January 2013, Singapore – The latest additions to Sony Xperia Android smartphone series the Sony Xperia Z and Xperia ZL finally nailed it in both design and features. Keeping the simple and flush design found in Sony Xperia smartphones, the new OmniBalance design on the Xperia Z and Xperia ZL subtly added round edges and smooth reflective surfaces on all corners, classy and sophisticated.

Sony Xperia Z

The Sony Xperia Z is only 7.9mm thin, finished with tempered glass with anti-shatter film on both front and back. Despite the good looks and slimness, Sony Xperia Z can even withstand against short periods of immersion in water*.

*Sony Xperia Z is dust and water resistance based on IP55 and IP57 standards respectively.

Sony Xperia Z also comes with Full HD display that runs on Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 for a razor sharp image and video playback. The Exmor RS image sensor on the Sony Xperia S is the first image sensor that can produce HDR (High Dynamic Range) video recording on a smartphone.

Sony Xperia Z will be available in Singapore from Q1 2013 in Black, White and Purple with price to be available.

Sony Xperia ZL a design variant of Sony Xperia Z that comes in a smaller form factor without the dust and water resistance feature. The Sony Xperia ZL comes with a plastic back chassis where there will be a covered slot to insert the memory card and SIM card.

Sony Xperia ZL will be available in Singapore from Q1 2013 in Black and White with price to be available.
