9 January 2013, Singapore – The 3G version of the ASUS VivoTab RT detachable tablet is now available in Singapore at S$1,049.  The ASUS VivoTab RT comes with a mobile dock that transforms into a notebook with a longer battery life.  It uses NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor and comes pre-installed with the Office Home and Student 2013 RT Preview.

The 10.1″ tablet’s thin metalic design measures 8.3mm thin and weighs 525g.  It comes with 2GB RAM and 32 GB of storage space.   The 1366 x 768 Super IPS+ display uses Corning Fit Glass and offers ultra-wide viewing angles of 178º and 600 nits brightness for stunning outdoor visibility.   Other features include an 8MP high performance camera and ASUS SonicMaster Technology and audio tuning by Waves.

When docked, the VivoTab RT works like any other laptop with the keyboard, multi-touch touchpad and USB port with up to 16 hours using the dock’s built-in battery.
