7 January 2013, Las Vegas (Business Wire) – Canon will equip its newest line of PIXMA Wireless Office All-In-One Printers with AirPrint wireless printing for iPad, iPad Mini, iPad 2, the new iPad, iPhone 3GS or later or the iPod touch 3rd generation or later device running on iOS 4.2 or later. AirPrint lets you wireless print photos, email, web pages and documents without the need to install device drivers.
The compatible models include the Canon PIXMA MX922, MX522 and MX452 Wireless Office All-In-One Printers. These models increase productivity and overall efficiency in the home office.
PIXMA MX922 Wireless Office All-In-One Printer
The PIXMA MX922 features two front cassette trays which lets you manage a range of printing jobs and maximise user productivity by enabling two media types to be loaded and ready at all times. The larger cassette tray holds up to 250 sheets of letter or legal-sized paper while the other holds up to 20 sheets of 4×6-inch or 10 sheets of 5×7-inch photo paper. The PIXMA MX922 printer has a 35 page Automatic Duplex Document Feeder while the other models are equipped with a 30-sheet Automatic Document Feeder. The PIXMA MX922 printer uses optional high-yield black cartridges that further improves the capabilities of the new model.
Manage this printer from anywhere in the home. It features a Dual Function Panel that transforms from navigational to numerical keypad. This lets you shift between printing, scanning and copying. A three-inch LCD screen lets you view the menus and images easily. The printer is ready for any CD or DVD project with the Direct Disc Print capabilities. The PIXMA MX922 and MX522 Wireless Office AIO models are compatible with Google Cloud Print which lets you print images and documents from Gmail and Google Docs from mobile devices, Google Chrome from Mac, Windows and Chrome supported devices. They are also compatible with Canon Easy-PhotoPrint (CANON EPP) application for Android and iOS which let you print photos and scan documents. PictBridge (LAN and Wireless LAN) also lets you link the printers to select Canon wireless-enabled cameras including the new PowerShot N digital camera and PowerShot ELPH 130 IS digital camera and print high-quality photos quickly and conveniently.
The new models also work with the cloud-based service by Evernote. Now notes, webpages, ideas can be synced across devices.
More Affordable PIXMA MX522 & MX452
The more affordable range of the newly launched printers offer similar functions and features in the premium models. The PIXMA MX522 printer has a Dual Function Panel and a bright 2.5-inch LCD screen to help increase usability while both models feature the FastFront loading function so you can load the paper and ink cartridge quickly.
The PIXMA MX522 model has an estimated selling price of US$149.99 while the PIXMA MX452 has an estimated selling price of US99.99.
