4 October 2012, Singapore – Shin Yeh Restaurant at Liang Court, renown for it’s authentic Taiwanese cuisine recently introduced all-time favourite Taiwanese street snacks to their lunch menu. Starting from as low as S$4.20 for Taiwan homemade sausage and S$6.80 for “Shih Lin” pan-fried oyster omelette, these dishes will definitely rekindle fond memories of Taiwan.
Besides the lunchtime treats, you can expect Taiwan street dishes available through dinner – the Taiwan-style braised oyster “Mian Xian” (S$5.80), Taiwan-style rice with soya sauce lean pork (S$4.80) and Fried “Xin Zhu” rice noodles with pumpkin (S$12).
Personal favourites will have to be the crispy, tasty and appetising pan-fried milk fish (S$12), the savoury and light fried “Xin Zhu” rice noodles with pumpkin which sparks the happiness and warmth of a home cooked meal. If you still have room for desserts after the meal, go for the generously portioned Taiwan-style mango & milk over shaved ice (S$8) to share with your dining buddy.
