Welcome to Fraser's Hill, Pahang
Welcome to Frasers Hill Pahang

5 September 2012, Singapore – About 100km up north from Malaysia’s capital city, Kuala Lumpur, and 1,220 meters above sea level, you will find a beautifully peaceful place called Fraser’s Hill.

With a lovely cooling climate and temperature of 17°C~25°C all year round, Fraser’s Hill, in Pahang state of Malaysia, is one favourite destination for leisure hikers and bird watchers in the region. If you want to escape from the rowdiness of city life and stroll around the country side while engulfing in the goodness of nature, Fraser’s Hill is the perfect choice.

Annually, Fraser’s Hill will host the Fraser’s Hill International Bird Race, where bird watchers from around the world will gather and compete in the 24 hour race to spot and identify the most species of birds within the Fraser’s Hill’s forested terrains.

Pictures speak a thousand words so instead of writing too much, here are the shots I took with Sony Alpha A77 equipped with a 300mm f2.8 lens and Sony NEX 7 with 18-55mm kit lens during my trip to Fraser’s Hill.

Waking up at 5am in the morning, I was welcomed by the stunning sunrise at Fraser's Hill
